Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account information — your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, the basic profile they return (name, email). We never receive your password from them.
• Profile — the username and display name you choose, and your home region if you set one.
• Your archive — the shows you log: artists, venues, dates, ratings, notes, ticket prices, setlists, companions and upcoming plans.
• Photos — images you attach to a show, plus ticket photos you scan to add shows.
• Basic technical data — logs and error reports needed to keep the service running and secure.

We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.

Who can see your shows

Your archive is private by default. Nothing is visible to other people until you turn on sharing in Settings. Even when sharing is on, your notes, ticket prices and private photos are never shared — only the list of shows you chose to make visible. You can hide individual shows at any time, and switching sharing off hides everything again immediately.

If you create a shareable recap link, anyone with that link can view that recap until you delete it. Companion invitations reveal your display name and username to the person you invite.

Camera and photos

Ticket scanning only happens when you choose a photo or take one. The image is sent to our processing service to read the artist, venue and date, then returned to you for review. We do not scan your photo library, and we never access your camera in the background.

Service providers

We use a small number of processors to run IW@TS: cloud hosting and database/storage for your account and archive, an AI provider that reads ticket photos and pasted show lists, mapping and place lookup to locate venues, music metadata sources for artist images and details, and email/SMS delivery for invitations and account mail. They may only process data on our instructions.

How long we keep things

Your archive stays until you delete it or delete your account. Deleting your account permanently erases every show, note, price, photo, setlist, companion link and recap. It cannot be undone, so export first if you want a copy.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export and delete your data at any time from Privacy Choices — no request form needed. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to processing or to complain to a data protection authority.

Children

IW@TS is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
